OTS Top Frame Canopy/Header - SKIN ONLY - Series 2 - BD32851C

This is the SKIN ONLY of the forward canopy or header panel for the OTS convertible top frame.  It is carefully hand-made on our English wheel using patterns and contour gauges taken from a good, original panel.  As you can see from the photos, when completed and oiled down for protection the end up looking like a work of art!

THIS IS THE SERIES 2 VERSION - which is wider from front to back, and has a stepped-up stiffening rib in the back that acts as the third top bow.  This fits the "two-bow" Series 2 top frame.

NOTE - I have included photos of the Series 1 version (blue background), AND the Series 2 version (wood bench background) so that you can see the difference in style.

THIS IS A NEW SKIN ONLY - it does not have the outer mounting pads that are spot-welded in and have welded in nuts for mounting.  The intent here is for you to remove and re-use those small pieces, welding them back into this new piece.  Doing it that was DRASTICALLY reduces the cost of this piece compared to other suppliers - our panel is less than half the cost of theirs...

The fit of this panel is excellent - we are very careful in the fabrication so that you will have a good fit.

Delivered in fresh, bare steel coated in a light oil for rust-prevention, simply wipe down with solvent before priming.
