Jaguar E-Type - EARLY 3.8 Series 1 - Heater Box Side Panel

This is the side panel of the heater box.  It is guaranteed to be correct in every dimension, including the 20-gauge thickness, hole size and placement, and location and dimensions of the heater flap rod bushing.  The panel is delivered in fresh, bare steel, ready for the quality primer and paint of your choice - you will not have to spend time stripping off the low-quality, black "shipping primer" that some other manufacturers use...  Replace the rusty panel on your heater box with this NEW, straight piece!

NOTE!!!  This is the panel for EARLY E-Types - the first few years - 1961 through about 1963.  It has the rear edge folded over and welded in the corners, a spring return tab welded on, and ALOT more screw holes...  Please check your car to make certain this is the correct side plate for your car.  It is formed from 20-gauge steel and patterned after the original piece.  If you need the other style, we make that as well - check our other auctions or contact us.
