FHC Parcel Tray Support Panel

This panel is originally covered in vinyl over 1/8" thick felt, and pop-riveted into the body shell during assembly of the interior. It creates the vertical support behind the seats for the Parcel Tray when it is in the down position.

The original panel was 20-gauge steel, and often bent or bowed over time under heavy loads, etc. This NEW panel has been formed out of 18-gauge steel - it is only .012" thicker, but SUBSTANTIALLY stronger. It is formed from patterns taken from an original panel, and is identical and correct in every other dimension, including the size and placement of holes, angles of bends, and the construction of the spot-welded tabs on the end that mount to the inner wheel-well.

These panels were drilled and pop-riveted into the cars originally by hand. For that reason, we do not punch the ten 1/8" mounting holes along the outer edges and tabs. It is best for you to fit the panel, and mark and drill those holes to match the mounting holes already in your body shell

Delivered in fresh, bare steel coated in a light oil for rust-prevention, simply wipe down with solvent before priming.
