Bonnet Lower Valance - Caged Plate Retainers - Set of 4

This is a set of 4 nut cages used to retain the bonnet hinge mounting plate on all E-Types. They are patterned after an original bonnet, and are correct in every dimension, including the size and placement of the holes. These are formed from 18-gauge steel - just slightly thicker than the original pieces (approx. .006 thicker), making them easier to work with when welding them into your lower valance

If your bonnet hinge mounts are rusted out, or your mounting plates need to come out because they have broken off bolts in them, these nut cages will help you repair your lower valance and avoid a costly and often unavailable replacement!

Delivered in fresh, bare steel coated in a light oil for rust-prevention, simply wipe down with solvent before priming.
