Faceplate Panel above Gearbox - 4.2

Faceplate Panel above Gearbox (or Transmission...). This version is for 4.2 E-Types with the full synchro Gearbox.

18-gauge steel - differs from the original in that 1/4" nuts are usd in place of the factory screw points, allowing for a much firmer attachment of the gearbox cover that will not rattle loose over time. Also does not have a curved bead in it that the original has, but the strength is there from our 18-gauge thickness!

Delivered in fresh, bare steel coated in a light oil for rust-prevention, simply wipe down with solvent before priming.
