License Area Surround / Stiffener - FHC & 2+2

This is the inner panel, or "stiffener" located underneath the rear lower tonneau panel of a Series 1 E-Type FHC - it forms the entire "roof" and sides of the license area on a Series 1 FHC or 2+2.

The "rear lower tonneau" is the outer skin of the body shell, between the bottom of the rear hatch door and the license area, and between the two tail lamps.  This panel fits directly underneath that, and also forms the "ceiling" of the license area on a coupe or 2+2.  It also includes the "sides" of the license area, and has cutouts for the Series 1 license lamps.

This panel is required when rebuilding the rear end of a Series 1 coupe or 2+2 - OR - when converting a Series 2 or 3 coupe or 2+2 to a Series 1 tail...

Delivered in fresh, bare steel coated in a light oil for rust-prevention, simply wipe down with solvent before priming.
