E-Type Outer Sill - PARTIAL REPAIR - BD15134 - LH

LH Outer Sill PARTIAL REPAIR panel.  This is the forward section of the Outer Sill that extends past the firewall.  While I ALWAYS recommend total replacement of the sill for strength and safety, there are occasions where only the very forward section that extends beyond the firewall is damaged - or rusted under the battery - or needs to be replaced due to bonnet fitting issues.  In this case, it is OK, as the primary strength of the sill if from the bulkhead back.

The typical stick-out length of the outer sill is approx. 19 & 3/8 inches past the firewall.  This piece is an IDENTICAL copy of the first 21 inches of the outer sill - as shown in photo #1 and #2.

Fits ALL short-wheelbase E-Types - OTS and FHC, Series 1, 1.5, and 2.

Delivered in fresh, bare steel coated in a light oil for rust-prevention, simply wipe down with solvent before priming.
