Front Turn Signal Pod Filler Panels - Series 2 & 3 - PAIR
These are filler panels for the "pods" that stick out of the bonnet lower valance on Series 2 and Series 3 cars. Customers who install a covered headlamp conversion on these cars will often wish to remove the large protruding later style turn signals below the bumper, and instead cut in Series 1 turn signal mounting holes above the bumper.
These panels are designed a bit oversize, and with the upper flange. This allows you to simply cut out the existing pod, including the flange, and then lay these up and mark them for butt-welding, or you can alos place them inside the lower valance, trace them and put on a stepped or joggled edge, and do an overlap weld.
I make these using patterns from original Series 1 lower valance panels, using an English wheel. The curvature and shape is correct in all dimensions, and we have sold dozens of pairs and have also installed them in E-Type bonnets here in the shop. Here is a video showing one of those conversions on our YouTube channel -----> Turn Signal Pod Video
Delivered in fresh, bare steel with a light oil applied - simply wipe off with a good solid and install and prime.

NOTE: Ask us about our unbreakable PETG (similar to, but better than Lexan...) covered headlamp lenses. They are a great addition to the covered headlamp conversion kits - they will allow you to attach the Series 1 chrome surrounds more uniformly, and they cost MUCH less than the reproduction glass lenses.
In addition, the original factory glass lenses have a very small "TripleX" logo on them that is barely noticeable - and not at all from just a few feet away, whereas the reproductions have a different, and HIUGE logo that is very distracting... Our PETG lenses have NO logo - making them look much more correct overall...
