Radiator Shield

This auction is for one new aluminum shield that mounts to the bonnet carrier bracket (A-frame, etc.), underneath and forward of the radiator of all Series 1, 1.5, and 2 E-Types. This is formed out of 5056 Aluminum, patterned after the original panel, and is correct in every dimension, including the size and placement of the mounting holes.

This panel was originally aluminum, and sometimes painted a satin, or semi-gloss black. You can paint this black, or finish it by hand (or machine) to a satin finish, engine-turned, or buff it all the way up to a mirror finish – the choice is yours!

This panel helps to keep air flowing through the radiator, and is an important part of the cooling system, but MANY E-Types are missing this piece! The original thin panel was easily damaged, and through the years, many of them were simply discarded. Replace yours today with a PERFECT, NEW panel from Monocoque Metalworks!
