Stiffener Rails under Floor - 2+2 - PAIR

These are the heavy rails running front to rear under the E-Type 2+2, Series 1, 1.5, and 2.

These rails connect the lower floor to the upper floor, and also provide stiffness to the structure.  They are often bent or damaged from jacking, etc.  The do also contain the mounting studs for the exhaust hangers.

They are fabricated from 16-gauge steel.  In the name of full disclosure, the originals are slightly thicker, but our shop and machines are all suited to a 16-gauge maximum thickness.  We have sold several pairs without complaint and they work just fine and are plenty strong.  They are fabricated to precise patterns made from original cars, and are exact in every dimension.

Delivered in fresh, bare steel coated in a light oil for rust-prevention, simply wipe down with solvent before priming.
